Beat Cop is an indie adventure game developed by Pixel Crow and published by 11 bit studios. Explore the darkest corners of New York and uncover its secrets as Jack Kelly, a former detective who has been framed for a murder. Be sexier than Sonny Crocket and tougher than Dirty Harry. And if witty comebacks won’t work, you can always do some old school ass kicking. It’s 80’s after all! The further you investigate the more missing puzzles you’ll find, but be careful. Some things should never be brought to daylight.

Beat Cop is a highly engrossing and addictive adventure, a cross between classic ’80s action and routine cop duty that makes for some extremely interesting gameplay as you get sucked in and even get attached to everyone in your little part of Brooklyn. You play as Officer Jack Kelly, who got tied up in the robbery of a Senator's prized jewelry collection. The game is based around following either morals or what benefits your character best, as well as picking sides between the Italian mafia, a local gang, and the police force. The game also throws in a rankings meter that tells you how liked/hated you are by the people, the police, the mafia and the crew. Crude vocabulary and tons of stereotypes worked great thanks to dark humor. If you're looking for a cool retro adventure, you've just found one.
