Heavy Metal Machines Review
Heavy Metal Machines is a 4vs4 team based Battle Racing game. There is one simple objective, capture the bomb from the center of the map, and deliver it to the enemy's base. In a world filled to the brim with MOBAs, Heavy Metal Machines puts a spin on the genre that's genuinely got me interested in it. It's free-to-play, and developer Hoplon specifically said on its steam page that it will only sell cosmetic items. The game is a lot of fun with its interesting ideas, really good looking car designs, and a fast pace, combat racing style gameplay, mixed in with its heavy metal aesthetic. Good number of pilots to choose from, each with different sets of abilities to fill a particular role. Really nice soundtrack (each pilot has a unique song) and Larry Huffman's comments add to the atmosphere. Give this game a shot, you won't regret it.
