Hyper Knights Review

8.6 Total Score
Good

Hyper Knights is strongly reminiscent of a top-down version of Mount & Blade. This is the type of game that will make you burn out your fingers playing and I loved every second of it. You control your own army and faction on the map, vying for territory and fighting other roaming enemy groups. Some may be larger or smaller than your forces, more or less aggressive and will each have an objective of their own such as hunting you down, taking your castle, et cetera. The game itself runs exceptionally well. It's controls, which are very much optimized for a controller versus Keyboard and Mouse, are simple and intuitive to understand. The gameplay is fast-paced and addictive where you feel a sense of urgency at all times. So yes, I fully recommend Hyper Knights. It's a pretty full game with a ton of potential matched with a dev team that will open it's full potential!
