Super Mega Baseball 2 Review
Loved SMB1 and just bought SMB2 and I have to say I am not disappointed. It's essentially the same game, but with much improved visuals, tighter controls, better ball physics, more teams, customization, bigger, more in-depth season mode, but most importantly, full online play, featuring cross-play with the Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions. Pretty much everything that Super Mega Baseball 1 players were asking for. Don't be fooled by the lighthearted nature of this and the outrageous cartoony characters and stadiums. Lurking underneath this game is a rather sophisticated baseball sim that honestly does not take itself serious enough. You could put the underlying simulation in a game with more realistic graphics and with a few tweaks here and there it would be a very good realistic baseball game. Runs well and gameplay is fluid, if you are looking for a baseball game on PC go for it.
