Space Junkies Review

8 Total Score
Very Good

Space Junkies is a visceral, jetpack-fueled Virtual Reality Arcade Shooter where you fly through deadly Orbital Arenas in hostile space, facing off in extreme battles! Fun and well polished game all around. The game is loads of fun and can entertain you for hours and hours. Has a sort of quake feel to it with weapon spawns around the map and a little bit of movement. The devs are very active with their community and have taken our word for lots of balancing needs. It gets really tense, when you're in a close match with a great team mate and competent opponents. The movement quickly feels natural - you forget you're just standing in a room and not flying through space arenas. The sound design is spot-on and really helps immersion and goes the extra mile to sell the universe you're in. We've wanted a solid AAA VR game for a while now and they delivered.
